We went during the low season period, so I believe that the price paid for what we got was excellent! We did the check-in late in the night, which was not a problem, since there was a person 24/7 at the reception, despite feeling that the hotel was empty! The pool was nice to relax, specially since we were alone there!

Very clean, very helpful staff. Small room but reasonably well equipped. Great big thirsty towels and quality bed linen. Use of the indoor pool and jacuzzi is great although there is a strong smell of chlorine. Reasonable cost to hire pool robes. Simple but fresh and abundant breakfast. The gorgeous Vidago palace garden is across the road and can be accessed for 30 minutes a day. The gate keeper will let you in for a walk (and spring water when Font 1 is open). Several good eating places that we walked to. The Balneário Pedagógico de Vidago is a few minutes walk away and is an outstanding spa with spring water. Really reasonable prices and outstanding service and professionally trained staff. Maria José at the information centre is also an outstanding local.

ALL the staff special mention to Arminda and Sandra were helpful and pleasant Hotel was located in quiet setting and pool pristine Breakfast included in reasonable tariff and we dined in for an evening meal Fish and Meat dish order came presented well and large servings soup was offered prior small carafe of vino tinto shared desert and two coffees for 44E with great service Bed large and comfortable quiet room 211

The location was by far the best aspect of this Hotel. The outdoor pool is very nice and the extended opening hours of the coffee/bar are convenient.
